A welded frame will likely be your first choice if you’re installing doors and frames at the same time as walls are being constructed, for aesthetic reasons and for its strength and durability. We supply a wide range of welded frames in standard sizes and profiles. Steel frames are available in 16 and 18 gauge for 1 3/4" doors. All standard frames are manufactured from galvannealed steel and are prepared and reinforced to receive specific architectural hardware in accordance to ANSI A115 Standards.
All commercial welded frames supplied by Doormart USA come with welded corners which have been ground smooth before being touched up to provide a seamless-looking appearance and finish. Strike and hinge jams are prepared to receive the associated door hardware and are supplied with the appropriate anchors, be it drywall, masonry, shoe or punch-and-dimple anchors, to make installation straightforward.
